Founding Vision
At just 22, I founded Suraksha with a simple yet powerful vision: to create a safer, more equitable world for women and girls across India. What started as a local initiative has grown into a pan-India movement that addresses critical issues of women's safety, menstrual health, and gender equality.
Through innovative approaches combining traditional wisdom with modern advocacy, Suraksha has reached over 25,000 women and directly educated 10,000+ girls across four states: Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Gujarat.
